Through years of working with students in various film programs, Conrad has made more than 20 short films with students between the ages of 8 -18 years.

Vision:

To educate students to feel inspired with the creation of stories through film. RadGeekery will work continually to create a space for children and teenagers to feel safe and tell stories in a variety of Rad art forms and genres.

Core Values:

Responsibility: Learn to complete filmmaking roles while using film-industry equipment safely.

Respect: Listen and speak to others calmly, and solve problems with a kind approach.

Teamwork: See the value in each filmmaking role and make connections with others on the team to create an amazing film.

Leadership: Communicate with all parts of filmmaking, drawing on others’ strengths, be an inspirational role model to the film crew and others.

Radness: Reach your highest creative potential.

Goals:

Foster a safe, exciting, and productive learning environment to reinforce the fundamentals of storytelling through film. Teach students through a hands-on method to operate professional film equipment, and apply what is learned with every session.

When an original film is completed, RadGeekery will celebrate the film and behind the scene/outakes with the school and families . We then continue this process by submitting the film into various film festivals locally and throughout the world. If selected into a film festival, RadGeekery will promptly inform those involved.
